Please recycle those ink cartridges. There is a list of accepted cartridges in the office. The pre-paid postage envelopes are also available in the office. Just drop 1 to 4 cartridges in an envelope, seal it, and drop it in the mail. For each cartridge sent in that is on the list, we receive money. Also included are toner cartridges.
If you use your Target Charge card when shopping please designate our school for “Cash Back Bonus Dollars”.
Don't forget the Food Certificates - your choice of A&P, ShopRite, or Pathmark. You pay $25.00 for each certificate and you get $25.00 to spend. The profit comes from the store, not from you. We receive $5.00 for each $100.00 worth of gift certificates purchased.

PALM CROSSES on SALE

St. John the Apostle PFG will be selling beautiful Palm Crosses at the 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. masses on March 15th and 16th. Crosses are $ 11.00 each or 2 for $20.00. They will be displayed in the library

Fathers' Club Fish Fry 2-15-2008

The Fathers' Club of St. John's will be hosting their annual Lenten Fish & Chips Dinner. The Fish & Chips are provide by the famous Argyle Restaurant of Kearny. Please check out their flyer for further information.

Book Fair

This is a very exciting week for all. We are celebrating Catholic Schools and how they "Light the Way." Please check the schedule for the week. Please be sure to check with your children for their Book Fair schedule.

The Book Fair will be open in the library starting Sunday the 27th and will continue through to Thursday! Please come in and check out all the wonderful reading materials, posters and other great items.

If you are new to SJA and have never seen our school in action - Now is the time! We are so proud of all our students and faculty - We have the Teacher of the Year for Region 3 of the NCEA - Mrs. June Butchko!!!!!! We are state of the art when it come our technology and it's implementation - laptops for grades 4 to 8 - SmartBoards for use in all classrooms - Kurzweil reading and writing programs for individual student needs. Our students have high Terra Nova standardized testing scores for our Deanery!
